Mission Statement
CLCA aims to help Chicanx/Latinx students be the best versions of themselves while also developing the internal community around them. We will achieve this through personal development workshops, community service events, professional Chicanx/Latinx speakers, as well as aiding in anyway we can to there academics, potential professions, and also their connection to their culture.

Focused on the individual. With this, we strive to help students be the best version of themselves in areas such as their studies, their career goals, and also what it means to be a Chicanx/Latinx in today's society.
Foundation for the internal community we are trying to build in CLCA and on the UC Davis campus. With the help of icebreakers, our familia program, and fun social events, we will create a very welcoming support system.

Community Development
CLCA believes strongly in giving back and plans many community service events for our members. Not only does it provide good services to those in need, but it also provides good learning opportunities as well.
Our Values
Culture - The Chicanx Latinx Collegiate Association is a cultural based organization. We want to attract hardworking and passionate Latinx individuals who want to enhance or sustain their connection to their culture while also working on other aspects of themselves. This is a value because with culture comes a sense of belonging and comfortableness which not only keeps people coming back but also inspires individuals to become more involved and connected with their heritage.
Leadership - this value is a very versatile character that can be transferred to any field our members can pursue. We value this trait and aim to develop it to the best of our abilities and by doing so we are helping the individual with their perception of themselves and their perception of the people or area around them
Community - CLCA strives to create a community that gives back. With the current lack of representation of successful Latinx people in today’s society we value and hope to grow alongside our members so when they are successful professionals, they will not hesitate to give back to their community as we have with them.
Ambition - With confidence a person can truly carry themselves to a point that is equivalent to their full potential but with ambition, our members will be striving to seek out those opportunities and taking those extra steps to achieve success. CLCA wants our members to become goal-oriented and aim to be the best versions of themselves in every way possible.
Our Vision
We aim for our members to be career driven, goal oriented, confident, and ambitious while also conscious and appreciative of what they have and how they can give back to their communities. We are not only helping the future Latinx Leaders be the best versions of themselves, but also developing a network of ambitious and compassionate individuals.
Externally, we want outside groups or individuals to know that our members are ambitious and are prepared for any role they are given or wish to pursue.
